Safety

- Always point a firearm
in a safe direction.
- Always keep your finger
off the trigger and out of the gun's trigger guard until you are ready to
shoot.
- Never load a firearm
until you are ready to shoot.
- Always know your target
and what is beyond it.
- When handling a firearm, the
first thing you must do is determine if the firearm is unloaded and
safe.
- Always thoroughly read
your gun's instruction manual.
- Before firing, always
inspect your firearm to make sure that it is in good working order and that it
is not obstructed with anything.
- Always use the proper
ammunition that is recommended by the manufacturer.
- Always wear ear and eye
protection when around firearms.
- Never use firearms while
under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
- Always store firearms
unloaded and inaccessible to children and untrained adults.
- Always transport your
firearms in a safe, unloaded condition and in accordance with applicable
Federal, State and local laws.
